She is survived by: her husband Teddy Smoot; her children, Jerry Lee Powell Jr. (Linda) of Burlington, James Michael Powell of Jonesville and Jessica Michelle Reavis (Scott) of Jonesville; her sister Wanda Pruitt of Traphill; her grandchildren, Sarah Powell (Cassie Powell), Alison Powell, Katlyn Poindexter, Lindsay Poindexter, Christopher Reavis James Stanley, Issac Stanley, Nevaeh Stanley, Xander Stanley, James Noah Powell, Lilly Powell, Violet Powell, Rosalie Powell and Jax Powell; and her great grandchildren, Denae Eagle, TaiLynn Burns, Davina Stanley and Aria Stanley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Elkin Funeral Service (560 North Carolina 268 W, Elkin, NC 28621). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elkin Funeral Service Chapel (560 North Carolina 268 W, Elkin, NC 28621). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Welcome Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
