He is survived by: his wife Norma Trivette Freeman; his sons, Brighton Andrew Freeman of Elkin and Alex Freeman (Ashlee) of Elkin; his stepdaughter Marissa Helms; and his grandchildren, Adrielle Neff, Addison Freeman, Aaron Freeman, Silas Freeman and Henry Ewald.
