He was predeceased by: his father Larry Reece Southard. He is survived by: his mother Betty Hodges Southard of Elkin; his wife Sally Southard; his daughters, Katelyn Southard of Elkin, Sarah Southard (Tyler Cox) of King and Baylee Southard; and his brother Shane Southard of Elkin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bessie's Chapel Baptist Church (118 N Elkin Dr, Elkin, NC 28621). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
