We bid farewell to Tom Poplin (Elkin, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 2, 2025 at the age of 78. Tom touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alta Wagoner Poplin and James Hazel Poplin of Bryant Road. He is survived by: his wife Jilda; his children, Hiram (Savannah), Walter (Celena), Winston (Amber), George, Jont, Jesse (Joanne) and Tracy Glocheau (Chris); his brother Gary (Billie); and his nieces and nephews, Cole and Layne (Dylan Hutzler). He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
His wishes are being honored by body donation; and at his request there will be no service.
