It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Faye Luther (Elkin, North Carolina), who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wanda Faye Luther to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kape Haynes and Kathleen Luffman Haynes; and her brother Billy Ray Haynes. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Luther; her daughters, Angela Whitt of State Road and Kayla Wagoner (Tony) of Millers Creek; her siblings, Bobby Joe Haynes (Ruby) of Elkin and Joann Cooke (Joseph) of State Road; her sister-in-law Donna Haynes; her grandchildren, Cory Whitt, Dakota Whitt, Matthew Millan, Max Millan and Hunter Evans; and her great grandchildren, Riley Whitt, Sophia Whitt, Harper Whitt, Miracle Millan and Melody Millan. She is also survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elkin Funeral Service (560 North Carolina 268 W, Elkin, NC 28621). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shoaly Branch Baptist Church (472 Shoaley Branch Rd, Elkin, NC 28621).
