With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Day of Elkin, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, David L. Day and Mozelle Burchette Bauguess; his brother Jim Bradley; and his sister-in-law Betty Yarboro. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Libby" Day; his brother-in-law Bobby Yarboro (Mary); his sister Janet Moody; and his sibling's children, David Bradley (Donna), Julie Macemore (Curtis), Terri Ward (Rick), Robin Hinson (Kevin), Jammie Y. Jolly (Mark) and Jeremy Yarboro (Jessica).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (593 Pleasant Hill Dr, Elkin, NC 28621). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (593 Pleasant Hill Dr, Elkin, NC 28621).
