He was predeceased by: his parents, David L. Day and Mozelle Burchette Bauguess; his brother Jim Bradley; and his sister-in-law Betty Yarboro. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Libby" Day; his brother-in-law Bobby Yarboro (Mary); his sister Janet Moody; and his nieces and nephews, David Bradley (Donna), Julie Macemore (Curtis), Terri Ward (Rick), Robin Hinson (Kevin), Jammie Y. Jolly (Mark) and Jeremy Yarboro (Jessica).
