He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Hamrick and Eva Griffin Hamrick; his wife Irene Matheny Hamrick; and his brother Gerald Hamrick. He is survived by: his children, Gary Hamrick (Dee) of Ellenboro, Russell Hamrick (Melissa) of Bostic and Linda Hamrick Shehan (Dean) of Hickory; and his grandchildren, Rebecca, John, Andy and Abby. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
