She was predeceased by: her father Larry Laughter; and her grandmother Colleen Ellenburg. She is survived by: her mother Dianne Laughter of Ellenboro; her siblings, Penny Laughter Marshall (Kelly) of Forest City and Larry Laughter (Araminta) of Forest City; her nieces and nephews, Christian Beheler, Samuel Beheler, Lydia Beheler, Alexandria Laughter, Victoria Laughter, Nicholas Laughter, Abbie Johnson and Chloe Johnson; and her pets, Sprill and Meeko.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043). A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery (1743 Chase High Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
