He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Calton Thompson and Marguerite Huntley Thompson; his son Cal Thompson; and his daughter-in-law Melissa Thompson. He is survived by: his fiancée Megan O'Brien; his daughter Anna Thompson of Forest City; his grandson Calton Thompson (Madison) of Forest City; his stepson Jarred Kern (Marla) of Ellenboro; and his pet Pearl. He is also survived by many cousins, friends.
