He is survived by : his children, Patricia Tipton (Wayne) of Bostic, Frank Gettys (Tina) of Ellenboro and Stephen Gettys (Dana) of Ellenboro; his grandchildren, Dr. Matthew Tipton, Adam Tipton, Stephanie Haynes, Taylor Gettys and Heather Slaton; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Myles, Kagen, Kaine, Saihla Tipton, Logan, Evie Haynes, Grant Gettys, Kylin Moore and Kaisley Stephens.
