She is survived by: her son Jody Splawn (Deanne) of Rutherfordton; her siblings, Brenda Hutchens of Rutherfordton and John Mode (Christy) of Forest City; her grandchildren, Chase Splawn, Josh Angulo, Arieanna Lattin and Justin Angulo; her great grandchild Aniyah Rencher; her stepmother Virginia Mode of Forest City; and her great-nieces, Hannah Grant and Savannah Grant.
