It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Cooper Bailey of Ellenboro, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on May 25, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Cooper and Maudie Cooper; her son David Brooks; and her grandson Jared Brooks. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Ronald Bailey; her children, Chad Bailey (Laura) of Forest City, Sherri Bailey (J. D.) of Kansas, Connie Robbins (Terry) of Lake Bowen, SC and Leslie Bridges (Scott) of Shelby; and her sister Carole Humphries (Joe) of Beaver Dam. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
