We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2023, at the age of 62, Melissa Bridges Gettys of Ellenboro, North Carolina, born in Lakeland, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Ray Bridges; her stepfather Guy Lackey; her son Ethan Michael Gettys; and her brother Mike Bridges. She is survived by : her husband Mike Gettys; her children, Amy Murray (Adam), Jason Gettys of Ellenboro and Matthew Gettys of Ellenboro; and her grandchildren, Addison Murray, Anslee Murray and Kimberly Gettys.
