The passing of Renee B. Wright of Ellenboro, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 71. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Blanton and Jurell Bryant Blanton; her daughter Tammie Sipes; her granddaughter Tyra Poteet; her great grandchild Colton Blaine Dobbins; and her siblings, Brenda Bryant, Wayne Blanton and Ernest Blanton.
She is survived by: her husband Ted Wright; her children, Dawn Henderson (Chris) of Forest City, Dustin Sipes of Rutherfordton, Nikki Murray of Ellenboro, Grady Wright (Summer) of Ellenboro, Jessica Wright of Morganton and Amanda Smith (Charlie) of Morganton; and her brother Michael Blanton (Debbie) of Lawndale.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Caroleen Congregational Holiness Church (112 Walker Store Rd, Ellenboro, NC 28040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hopewell Community Church Cemetery (141 Hopewell Church Road, Ellenboro, NC 28040).
