He is survived by: his wife Janice Smith Martin; his daughter Holly Shires of Ellenboro; his grandchildren, Jordan Crawley and Chase Arrowood; his in-laws, Charles and Peggy Smith of Ellenboro; and his brothers-in-law, Ricky Smith (Betty) of Ellenboro and Jack Forbes (Sharon) of Kings Mountain.
