With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Zan Fisher of Ellenboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Fisher and Maggie Mostiler Fisher; his wife Louise Wood Fisher; and his son Allen Fisher. He is survived by: his daughter Kelli Fisher Wilson (Aaron) of Forest City; his daughter-in-law Tonya Fisher of Mooresboro; and his granddaughters, Jordan Wilson Hubbard (Justin) of Ellenboro and Maggie Wilson of Forest City.
The lying in state was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Padgett and King Mortuary (227 E Main St, Forest City, NC 28043). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Florence Baptist Church (201 S Broadway St, Forest City, NC 28043).
