She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Smith and Catherine Chavis Smith; and her husband Larry Herbert Clark. She is survived by: her children, Tim Clark (Lori) and Sandra Hudson Stevens (Chuck); her grandchildren, Lauren Clark, Alex Clark (Jordan), Kristin King, Deidre Hudson and Joshua Hudson (Liz); and her great grandchildren, Damian King (Azpen), Tyler King (Abby), Alexus King (David), Desmon Hudson (Alison), Brooklynn Hudson, Bella Hudson, Natalie Hudson and Colin Hudson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home- Ellerbe (143 Church St, Ellerbe, NC 28338). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (133 Ballard St, Ellerbe, NC 28338).
