He is survived by: his son David Wayne McIntyre (Lisa) of Loganville, GA; his grandson Drew McIntyre (Danielle) of Loganville; his great grandchildren, Rachel, Daniel and Isaac; and his brother Bobby McIntyre, Sr. of Mt. Gilead, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Carter Funeral Home (143 Church St, Ellerbe, NC 28338). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home, Ellerbe Chapel (143 Church St, Ellerbe, NC 28338). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Va National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144).
