We bid farewell to Dennis Barnes of Elm City, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 30, 2025 at the age of 78. Dennis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his wife Linda Winstead Barnes; his children, Lori Jones (Jay) of Elm City and Jeff Barnes (Kim) of Elm City; his grandchildren, Josh and Christa Jones; his brother Doug Barnes (Ann) of Kinston; his niece Karen Signorelli (Steve) of Apex; and his cousins, Joanie Parker Fisher of Wilkesboro, Gail Brewer of Wilson and Lisa Hutchinson (Glen) of Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilson Memorial Service (2811 Fieldstream Dr N, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
