She was predeceased by : her husband Clarence Hopkins; her parents, Joseph Gibson Woodard and Nettie Bailey; and her son Kimmie Gibbs Hopkins. She is survived by : her children, Sherry Hackney (Doug) of Wilson and Mitch Hopkins (Kimberly) of Elm City; her siblings, Verlia Hocutt (Luby) of Sims, Joseph Woodard (Arlene) of Kenly, Wallace Woodard (Louise) of Wilson and Doug Woodard (Christine) of Elm City; her grandchildren, Nikki Case (Casey), Suzanne LaRoque (Eric), Blair Childress (Randall) and Jordan Johnson (Jon); and her great grandchildren, Ava Grey and Jane Johnson.
