He was predeceased by: his parents, Junius Bolin and Clella Bolin; his daughter Sandy Griffin; his son-in-law Wayne Griffin; and his sister Diane Bolin.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette; his son Allen Bolin (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Megan Hensley (Sam), Brandon Griffin, Lillian Bolin and Connor Bolin; and his siblings, JoAnn Lawson, Rachel Wright, Francis Black and Woody Bolin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Temperance Hall Church (3834 Temperance Hall Rd, Elm City, NC 27822). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
