It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Patterson of Elm City, North Carolina, who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his mother Peggy Hoggard Patterson; his wife Barbara Susan Davis Patterson; and his parents-in-law, Jasper and Loleta Kennedy Davis. He is survived by : his father Claude M. "Mick" Patterson of Rocky Mount; his sister Denise Patterson Stone (Ted) of Spring Hope; his niece Dr. Alexandria Stone Luper (Cameron) of Nashville; his aunts, Winnie Petway of Marion, Carolyn Hoggard of Rocky Mount and Mary "Puddin" Hoggard; and his uncle Rudy Hoggard (Molly) of Marion.
