He is survived by: his wife Georgia H. Winstead; his daughters, Arquilla Joyner (James) of Harlem, Cynthia Pierce (Darren) of Wilson, NC and Lisa Stokes (Cornell) of Garner, NC; his sister Annette Davis; his sisters-in-law, Wynette Milliner and Marian Jones; and his cousin Ronald Harris. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
