He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Mercer; his sons, Duane Moore (Amanda) and Mark Mercer; his grandchildren, Taylor Morgan and Ben Moore; his great grandchild Colton Morgan; and his brother Ralph Pierce, Jr. (Therese).
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maplewood Cemetery (400 College St NE, Wilson, NC 27893).
