With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobbie Covington of Elon, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 8, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lunnette Crisp Covington and Bobby Covington Sr.; and his sister Karen Acquanetta Russell. He is survived by: his children, Elton Allison (DeVonn) of Burlington, NC, Channing Davis of Greensboro, NC, Travareous Covington of Greensboro, NC, Ashford Harris of Burlington, NC and Ashley Harris of Whitsett, NC.; his significant other Carletha; and his siblings, Dennis Covington (Shirley) of High Point, NC, George Covington of Elon, NC and Thelma Marie Jeffers (Minister Eugene) of Pleasant Grove, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews he loved.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Blackwell Funeral Home (1292 Rauhut St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. Due to COVID-19 and OTHER VIRUSES FACE MASK are advised for Services.
