The passing of Jean Rose VonWachenfeldt of Elon, North Carolina, born in Schiller Park, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 62. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent MomCo. She is survived by: her husband John "Mike" VonWachenfeldt; her parent Norine Cocozza; her children, Jeffrey VonWachenfeldt, Laurie Lutsch and Jason VonWachenfeldt (Kristen); her grandchildren, Layna Lutsch, Tyler Lutsch, Ava VonWachenfeldt and Jack VonWachenfeldt; and her brothers, Paul Cocozza and Steve Cocozza (Julie). She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark's Community Church (1230 St Marks Church Rd, Burlington, NC 27215).
In keeping with her lifelong commitment to helping others, Jean chose to donate her body to Elon University for the advancement of medical education and scientific research.
