With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lydia Ann Haithcock Bryant (Elon, North Carolina), who passed away on March 21, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lydia Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lydia Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Herman "W. H." Bryant; her parents, William H. Haithcock and Velma Marie Hunt Haithcock; and her sister Glenda Carter. She is survived by: her siblings, William "Bill" Haithcock, Bernice Williams (Johnny), Amy Starr (John) and Donna Carter (Sterling "Bo"). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
