She was predeceased by: her parents, Tollie Gray Foster and Mary Olive Newman Foster; her husband Kenneth L. Harper; and her brothers, Durward G. Foster of Lake Gaston and Fred D. Foster.
She is survived by: her son David Harper (La Monica Harper); her granddaughter Hadley Harper; her stepgrandsons, Xavier, Jaden, Ellis of Durham and Brian Harper (Robbyn Oakes Harper) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Makena Harper and Eli Harper; and her friend Janet Hardee of Graham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
