He is survived by: his wife Linda; his stepchildren, Travis Johnson (Paula), Melinda Huff, Eric Kerns (Angie) and Bily Ray Kirk (Teresa); and his stepgrandchildren, Bethanie Jones (Delvin), Zahcary Kerns and Joshua Kerns.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Hill Cemetery (1200 S Main St, Burlington, NC 27215).
