We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2025, at the age of 73, Thomas Wayne King of Elon, North Carolina, born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Wayne King to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Champion King and Herbert Glenn King, Sr.; his brothers, Herbert King, Jr., Payton King and William King; and his nephews, Tony King and Greg King.

He is survived by: his significant other Darlene Turner; his sibling's children, Herbert Glenn King III (Betty), Kay Digh, Bob King (Carolyn), Cindy Mason (John), Shelley Tinsley (Mike), Bradley King (Deanna), Stacy King (Andrea) and Angela McCracken (David); his godchildren, Janna Pavlina (Andy) and Jared Peacock (Sarah); and his pets, Lacy Jane and Buddy Boy. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the White Funeral Services (60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
