William Smithey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2023, at the age of 81, William Smithey of Elon, North Carolina, born in Alamance, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Joseph Smithey and Deborah Stanford Smithey; and his sisters, Diane Bare and Brenda Farris. He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Hart Smithey; his daughters, Angela Coley (Syed Hosseini), Sherri Hancock (Freddie), Julie Warrick (Randy) and Susan Smithey (Mike Long); and his siblings, Carlton "Butch" Smithey and Rebecca Apple. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
