She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Lockey and Helen Langston Lockey; and her husband Donald Cox. She is survived by: her daughters, Liz and Mona (Abe); her nieces, Nancy and Cindy; her granddaughter Hallie Grace; and her adoptive sons, Scott and Dwayne. She is also survived by many cousins and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Havelock (324 Miller Blvd, Havelock, NC 28532). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
