With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mavis Harrell House of Emerald Isle, North Carolina, who passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Harrell and Lena Hopkins Harrell; her son Milton Stuart House, III; and her siblings, Ruby Clary, Jake Harrell, Robert "Stump" Harrell and William Henry "Boot" Harrell.
She is survived by: her husband Milton Stuart House, Jr.; her daughter Patricia H. Savage (Terry); her grandchildren, Travis D. Savage, Monica S. Speight (Travis) and Rebecca H. Whitfield (Jonathan); her great grandchildren, Landon B. Speight (Haley), Rylan A. Speight, Avery G. Savage, Paisley M. Savage and Lilah G. Whitfield; her children, Richard House (Jacque), Junius House (Betty), Berry House, Lonnie House (Evelyn), Mike House (Mary Jo) and Samuel "Pete" House (Stephanie); and also Ariel Savage.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crystal Coast Worship Center (1101 Salter Path Rd, Atlantic Beach, NC 28575).
