We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2025, at the age of 80, Thomas Allen Schley of Emerald Isle, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Thomas Allen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Thomas Allen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Schley; his wife Ann Schley; and his brother Jesse Schley. He is survived by: his father Thomas Schley; his children, Ashley Croom (John) of Wilmington, NC and Allen Owen Schley (Stacey) of Greenville, NC; his sister Betty Berry of Emerald Isle, NC; his grandchildren, Tyler Mitchell Croom, Jaxson Owen Croom and Georgia Blaire Croom; and his pets, Harley and Ziggy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (2730 S 17th St, Wilmington, NC 28412).
