She is survived by: her children, Charles Ray Spencer (Merle) of Swan Quarter, Sharon S. Cahoon (Joey) of Greenville and Elisa S. Metcalf (Darren) of Raleigh; her grandchild Major Charles Ray Spencer, II (Beth) of Temple, TX; and her great grandchildren, Lucas Apperson, Ava Apperson, Carly Spencer, Warren Cahoon and Hailey Cahoon.
