He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W. Sr. Loftus and Elaine Elizabeth Jones Loftus; and his brother Patrick Loftus. He is survived by: his grandsons, Max Loftus, Henry Loftus and Levi Loftus; his siblings, Thomas "Tommy" William Loftus, Jr. (Floy) of Engelhard, Patricia "Trisha" L. Judd (Steven) of Elizabeth City and Kimberly "Kim" L. Gibbs (Paul Harvey) of Engelhard; and his daughter-in-law Danielle Kanney (David).
