He is survived by: his siblings, Bernice Murphy, Clyde, Garvie, Gilmer, Roy and Jesse; his wife Joyce Anders; his sons, Robby (Vickie) of King, NC and Alan (Lisa) of Walkertown, NC; and his grandchildren, Cole Gillespie, Kara Mullins (Jimmy), Curtis Gillespie (Jordan), Christie Large (Zach) and Tyler Gillespie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Little Pine Covenant Brethren Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
