We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2022, at the age of 88, Bobby Gene Byrd of Erwin, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, James Clifton Byrd and Ina Hawley Byrd; his siblings, J. C. Byrd, Jr., Don W. Byrd, B. Gerald Byrd and Betty Byrd White; his wife Geraldine Lee Byrd; his nephews, Jackie Byrd and Tony Spence; and his niece Pam Brown.
