She was predeceased by : her mother Bertha Dodd; her husband William David Crane Sr. of Erwin; her parent Alto Dodd; and her sister-in-law Sue Hawley Crane. She is survived by : her son William David Crane, Jr. (Pam) of Dunn, NC; her grandchildren, Bethany Crane Teachey (Braxton) of Smithfield, NC, William David Crane, III (Amber) of Panama City, FL and Derek Wayne Benson (Amanda) of Benson, NC; and her great grandchildren, Beckett Teachey, Brewer Teachey, Sawyer Crane, Emery Crane, Olivia Crane and Halle Jo Benson.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 24th 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the South Erwin Baptist Church (144 Old Cut Off Rd, Erwin, NC 28339). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
