We announce the death of Jerry Ashley Jr. of Erwin, North Carolina, who passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 72. Jerry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his daughter Heather Ashley; his parents, Dorothy Ashley and Jerry Ashley; and his grandparents, Eula, John Ashley, I. W. and Lizzy Tyndall.

He is survived by: his daughter Tiffany Ashley; his former wife Debbie Ashley; his sister Terry Ashley; his niece Ann Marie Moore; his stepmother Deb Ashley; his stepbrothers, Andrew and Guler Ashley; his sister-in-law Lisa (Joe Lamari); his nephews, Joe, Kelly Lamari, Charlie, Cait and Reid Lamari; and his aunt Gertie Duke.
