He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Joe C. Bledsoe and Beulah Bledsoe; his siblings, Cleo Bledsoe, Kenneth Bledsoe (Buddy), Gladys Pope and Luddie Mae McCorquodale; his wife Hilda Bledsoe; his daughters, Karon Casey (Glenn) of Wilmington, NC and Christal Wood (David) of Dunn, NC; his granddaughters, Raven Honeycutt (Dillion) of Dunn, NC and Tessa Wood of Dunn, NC; and his great grandchild Riley Honeycutt of Dunn, NC.. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to American Legion Banner Post No. 109, Disabled Veterans Chapter 74, or Sansom Community Church.
