Pearl C. Gainey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2023, at the age of 93, Pearl C. Gainey of Erwin, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Leslie Hunter Hobbs; her husband Hiram Coolidge Gainey; her sons, Gale Gainey and David Ray Gainey; her grandsons, Evan Gainey and Justin Gainey; and her sister Kathryn Ennis.
She is survived by: her children, Sherrill Gainey (Lettie) of Dunn and Donna Sue Owen (Bob) of Dunn; her grandchildren, Sherrill Gainey, Jr. of Dunn, Eric Gainey (Christie) of Dunn and Brittney Britt (Allen) of Newton Grove; her great grandchildren, Anderson Gainey and Callen Britt; and her caregiver Barbara Godwin.
