We bid farewell to Sharon Horne (Erwin, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 13, 2026 at the age of 81. Sharon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Davis Murray and Violet Ruth Johnson Murray; and her son Scott Murray Horne. She is survived by: her spouse Kelly Horne; her daughter Carla Barefoot (Wesley) of Dunn; her grandsons, Matthew Barefoot (Lauren) of Dunn and Cameron Barefoot of Dunn; her great grandchild Madeline Barefoot; her sisters, Carolyn Hicks of Garner and Paulette Johnson of Oak Island; and her sister-in-law Susan Davis of Gibsonville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
