He is survived by : his significant other Brenda Bond of Erwin; his daughter Helen Gebre; his sister Martha Berry of Lexington; his nephews, Michael and Kevan Martin; and his close friends, Ed, Shirley Richardson of Sneads Ferry, Charlie and Susie Hughes of Sneads Ferry.
