He is survived by : his mother Louise Southards; his wife Bonnie Blackmon Bass; his children, April Bass of Coats, Kimberly Beasley (James Gale Beasley) of Dunn and Michael Ethan Thomas Bass of Erwin; and his grandchildren, Matthew Beasley and Rylan Beasley.
