He was predeceased by: his parent Ann Moirs; his brother Gene Moirs; and his stepgrandson Kaden Tucker. He is survived by: his daughter Makenna Leigh Ann Smith of Mills River, NC; his stepsons, James Forbes III (Tiffany) of Hendersonville, NC. and Brayden Forbes of Hendersonville, NC.; his stepgranddaughter Thorn Forbes of Asheville, NC; his niece Haley Troutman of Kentucky; and his nephew Gerald Moirs of Maryland.
