She was predeceased by : her parent Phyllis A. LaPorta; her grandmother Margaret C. Strait; her brother Michael LaPorta; her aunt Sandra Smith; her parents-in-law, Richard and Beatrice Norris; and her parent Cora I. Dryman.

She is survived by : her husband Dusty D. Norris; her children, Cati Harris (Chuck), Melanie Smith and Josh Norris of Etowah, NC; her grandchildren, Jordan Ballard, Dustin Norris, Allex Carr, Kaylee and Jo Carr; her great grandchild Braxton L Burnett; her sisters, Sally LaPorta (Brian), Peggy LaPorta, Sandee Barnwell (Brian Sr), Ora Passmore, Epatia "Sissy" Albertson and Marcelle Andrews; her nieces, Melissa Chapman and Annette Justice; and her nephew Brian Barnwell, Jr. (Brian Jr.). She is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
