We announce the death of Forrest Hunter Rountree Jr. of Eure, North Carolina, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 82. Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (304 Main St, Gatesville, NC 27938). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home Chapel (304 Main St, Gatesville, NC 27938).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eure Volunteer Fire Department.
