She was predeceased by: her parents, Percival Delmar Greene, Jr. and Mary Ann Simpson Greene; and her brother-in-law Rob Johnson. She is survived by: her husband John Mills Askew; her daughters, Ashley Stallings (Shelton), Leeza Askew (Kyle Badgett) and Sarah Askew; her grandchildren, Abigail Stallings and Logan Stallings; and her siblings, Anita Greene Johnson and Percy Greene (Karen). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Eure Baptist Church (292 Corner High Rd, Eure, NC 27935). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eure Baptist Church.
