She was predeceased by: her parents, John Everette Hill and Edith Harriett Nelson Hill; her husband Thomas "Tom" Ray Johnson; her son Reginald Mark Johnson; and her sisters, Joyce Nance and Peggy Cousins.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Ray Johnson, II and Donna Johnson Bartley (Cecil); her grandchildren, Chad Bartley (Brooke), Jordan Bartley (Keri Ana), Chance Johnson (Emily), Judith Johnson, Holli Johnson and Ashley Young; her great grandchild Jacey Bartley; her grandchildren, Lexi, Zander, Dalton, Maddie and Jamie; and her sisters-in-law, Grey Pearce and Sondra Merritt.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Evergreen Methodist Church (7266 Old U. S. Hwy 74, Evergreen, NC 28438).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Evergreen Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
